Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our finance team on a 6-month contract in Seattle, WA. The Accounting Clerk will play a key role in day-to-day accounting operations, assisting with data entry, reconciliations, and administrative accounting tasks to keep our processes running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records Process accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports Assist with accounts receivable posting and customer payments Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts Support month-end and year-end closing processes Maintain organized files and documentation in compliance with company policies Assist with reporting and special projects as needed Qualifications 12 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred Familiarity with accounting principles and financial recordkeeping Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or similar a plus) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Details Contract: 6 months (possibility of extension) Schedule: Full-time, onsite in Seattle, WA Pay: $22$28/hour DOE Benefits LHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
