What You’ll Do

• HR Operations & Data Management – Maintaining accurate HRIS records, processing employee changes, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
• Recruitment & Onboarding – Leading full-cycle recruiting, from job postings to extending offers, while creating a seamless new-hire experience.
• Payroll & Leave Support – Assisting with payroll, PTO, and administering FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs.
• Employee Relations & Compliance – Supporting managers with corrective actions, disciplinary processes, and compliance reporting (EEOC, unemployment claims, audits).
• Benefits & Programs – Coordinating open enrollment, managing the Employee Referral Program, and tracking employee engagement through surveys.
• Leadership Partnership – Serving as a trusted advisor to managers, supporting handbook updates, policy reviews, and HR projects directly with the CEO.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (preferred).
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, especially ADP.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (MI, OH, IL, KY, IN, AR).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location setting.
