Accountant Position
Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to support our client's financial operations. This role involves managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger maintenance, and journal entries while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include processing and reconciling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, maintaining and reconciling General Ledger accounts, preparing and posting journal entries with accuracy and timeliness, assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, supporting audits and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights, and preparing reports and maintaining accurate documentation for all transactions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required), 2+ years of accounting experience (preferred), strong understanding of GAAP principles, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar), excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
