Overview
Partnering with organizations to identify stellar legal talent. Firm Advice is conducting a search for a collaborative procurement / supply chain attorney to provide key legal support to supply and product teams in drafting and negotiating technology and manufacturing procurement contracts in the aviation industry. The attorney will draft and negotiate commercial contracts to support all stages of the supply chain, including supplier and vendor agreements, manufacturing and co-packing contracts, transportation and logistics agreements, and distribution and reseller contracts. The position is remote within the United States. Compensation depends on experience but is up to $125/hour. Position is temp / interim to possible hire. Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate commercial contracts to support all stages of the supply chain, including supplier and vendor agreements, manufacturing and co-packing contracts, transportation and logistics agreements, and distribution and reseller contracts. Qualifications
JD and membership in good standing in at least one U.S. bar. 5+ years’ legal experience with procurement / supply chain contracts. Experience with telecom / Wi-Fi roaming experience and product counseling is a plus. A combination of the following experience is preferred: supplier and vendor agreements; manufacturing and co-packing contracts; transportation agreements; warehousing and logistics agreements; distribution and reseller contracts; delivery terms, quality standards, warranties; compliance with import/export laws and trade regulations; environmental requirements; legal risks; domestic and cross-border transactions.
