General Manager, Doughnut Factory at Krispy Kreme. The Plant Manager is responsible for every doughnut factory operation, including production, sanitation, food safety, FDA compliance, maintenance, shipping and human resources. This role involves developing a capable staff, achieving profitability, and ensuring customer and employee satisfaction. The position requires a thorough understanding of production processes and maintaining high quality products while ensuring employee safety. Responsibilities

Supervise all areas of the doughnut factory Ensure adequate staffing for all positions Maintain operations in accordance with Krispy Kreme standards Ensure employees perform their jobs safely and correctly Perform tasks as needed to cover absent employees Scheduling Oversee customer service-related activities to meet quality standards and customer satisfaction Serve as a role model for customer-first behaviors and coach a customer-focused team Handle difficult customer situations professionally and respond to inquiries in a timely manner Supervise production, sanitation, maintenance and shipping operations Ensure loadout and delivery logistics are completed timely Maintain building and grounds in good condition Implement procedures to maximize efficiencies and control variances in daily production Coordinate production schedules to meet demand and minimize labor hours Inspect, troubleshoot and address production or equipment issues Demonstrate safety consciousness and promote store safety practices Maintain high levels of sanitation and cleanliness, including training and schedules Oversee proper maintenance of production and material handling equipment Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and develop employees; enforce store policies Communicate store policies, standards, and practices to staff Manage expense budgets and corporate reporting documentation (financial and operational) Protect company assets and manage resources efficiently Manage deposits, accounts receivable and other financial duties as required Qualifications

High school diploma required; college degree a plus (Operations, Supply Chain Management or Engineering preferred) 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; food or packaging experience preferred Knowledge of Food Safety and FDA compliance requirements Experience in sales, management, production, employee safety and customer service Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills Self-motivated, creative and adaptable Microsoft Office proficiency Benefits
