PMO Governance Manager
This is a key strategic role in the global Project Management Office based in North America. This role will ensure projects and programs in the NA region follow Quest Global defined processes, systems, and governance mechanisms to deliver greater customer satisfaction (CSAT). The role will act as a primary support to project teams in the NA region from the PMO perspective and will facilitate support leveraging teams back in India. The person will also ensure critical projects are governed from start to end and raise any flags or escalate when necessary to local and central leaderships like VDLs, VBU leaders, PMO GBR & department head, etc. This role will be a bridge between NA project teams and the central PMO team for process improvements, implementation of new processes or tools, etc. Team: GBR (Governance and Business Risk Team) Experience Level: 10+ Years Role: PMO Governance Manager No of Position(s): 1 Required Education: Bachelor of Science (Aerospace/Automotive/Oil & Gas/Mechanical/IT/Product Design Engineering), Post graduation preferred (Optional: M.B.A - General Management & Strategy) Requirement Location(s): Quest Global Office in North America (Any location) Working Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office & 2 days from home) Key Responsibilities/Job Description: Proposal review and signoff of First of Projects and Critical Bids FoP/Critical projects tracking and enable team in successful execution of these projects. Status reporting to Senior Management on a regular basis and seek support or intervention wherever needed. Should be able to understand Project and Program financial metrics and guide the team in better management of the same. Drive PL forums. Understanding challenges of Project Management community and helping/supporting in address the same with the help of the right enabler team. Support in improving overall competency improvement of PM community. Drive Program Managers Forum. Sharing SPP knowledge across all PgM community and supporting in the overall competency improvement of PgM community. Acting as PMO face for the delivery team. Addressing and supporting the PM community in adhoc issues and challenges. Seeking right enabler team interference wherever required. High C-SAT on all Critical to Business Projects. Deploy Start-up Program Plan process and practice Help delivery with setting up SPPs for the campaigns on time, conduct reviews and be a champion at implementing SPP Ensure monitoring critical VBU metrics and if required investigate, guide and direct Delivery leadership on resolving project / program issues including active participation in RCAs and cross leveraging learnings. Active role in Integration of Acquired Organization Play active role in deployment of PM processes and tools like Pulse, etc. Conducting contract maturity audits of FFP projects across Quest Global. Identifying the gaps and showcasing improvement areas. Monitoring of the Operational Project Financial KPIs. Contributing to the reduction of DSO during quarterly, half and yearly closures. Participating in Delivery monthly/quarterly meetings. Showcasing the overall delivery performance in PMO related metrics. Highlighting issues and improvement areas if any. Assist Sponsors, Program Managers, Project Managers, Leaders, Engineers and sales teams in the best use of our project management processes and tools. Coach & Mentor Delivery Teams across Quest Global on Project Financials & Project Management. Track activities of PMO so as to maintain a real-time picture of status and priority, facilitating adaptability in the face of changing business priorities. Work Experience: Key Skills: PMP or PRINCE2 foundation certification Experience in Proposal submission. Expertise in different Project contracts and project types.
