Position Summary

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
