As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a People Liaison Specialist to enhance our People Department with a strong focus on payroll, benefits, and compensation.

Your Impact

The People Liaison Specialist will serve as a key member of the People Department, bringing a broad-based HR generalist background with a specialization in total rewards. This role will focus on payroll administration, benefits management, compliance, and employee data integrity—leveraging experience with ADP Workforce Now to ensure accurate and efficient processing.

Your Contribution

Payroll & HRIS (ADP Workforce Now)

  • ADP liaison ensuring accurate and timely weekly payroll processing.
  • Partner with ADP to maintain payroll records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance to reconcile payroll reports and year-end W-2s.
  • Administer and audit timekeeping processes, support managers with time entry issues.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Administer company benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), HSA/FSA, and wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment and liaise with benefit brokers and providers.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, leave of absence, and eligibility.
  • Support compensation analysis and benchmarking efforts to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.

HR Generalist Functions

  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Support compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
  • Assist with internal audits, HR reporting, and special projects as needed.

Required

  • 3–5 years of HR experience, with a focus on payroll, benefits, and generalist responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (payroll, benefits, HR modules).
  • Strong knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in construction or related industries.
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or CPP certification is a bonus.
