We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of meal preparation, food handling, and fine dining standards. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food storage and sanitation practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Utilize various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and baking, to create exceptional dishes. Follow all safety and health regulations related to food handling and preparation. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes or specials. Skills Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling procedures, and meal preparation methods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Proficient knife skills with attention to detail in food presentation. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Previous experience in fine dining establishments is a plus but not required.
