Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in heavy equipment and various mechanical systems. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively. Repair or replace faulty parts and components Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to complete fabrication projects as needed. Perform tire services, including mounting, balancing, and rotation Qualifications Will need at least your own basic tools.- All specialty tools and scanners are available to check out Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. Strong knowledge of engines and vehicle systems Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs. Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and mechanical components. Ability to perform alignment, brake repair, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and assembly tasks efficiently. Knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques is highly desirable. Capability to handle heavy lifting as required during repairs.
