Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are operating safely and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining high standards of quality. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, and brake repair. Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical issues. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs on various vehicle systems including transmissions, alignment, suspension, shocks & struts, and diesel engines. Work with schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues effectively. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair options. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair. Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively. Experience in diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices including alignment, suspension work, tire service, shocks & struts, and brake systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Welding skills are a plus for performing auto body repairs as needed.
