Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook/Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests. Duties Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and menu plans (working fryer, working grill, working sauté, working salads stations) Perform food handling tasks, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Support the culinary team with cooking tasks as needed, ensuring timely meal service. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained after use. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication during service times. Assist in catering events as required, providing high-quality food service to guests. Qualifications Background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or similar environment Proficient knife skills are essential for efficient food handling. Knowledge of food safety practices is crucial to maintain health standards in the kitchen. Culinary experience is a plus, particularly in fast-paced settings. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required. Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary needs for various events.
