We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, including high and low voltage applications. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites and renovation projects. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper functionality of automated systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute tasks efficiently and safely. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete projects accurately. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant safety standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to facilitate seamless project completion. Perform renovations that require electrical modifications while adhering to project timelines. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus on both industrial and commercial environments. Familiarity with low voltage systems, high voltage applications, and relevant safety protocols. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively. Experience in construction site environments is essential; maintenance person experience is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
