Overview A well-established leader in the label manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced

General Manager

to oversee all aspects of operations, sales, production, and strategic planning. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the business meets its financial objectives, delivers high-quality products, complies with relevant regulations, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Direct daily operations across production, supply chain, quality control, and logistics.

Production Planning: Ensure production schedules are achieved efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency and waste reduction through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Financial Management: Prepare and manage forecasts, budgets, and financial reporting.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor KPIs and P&L performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Cost and Revenue: Explore opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

Business Development: Partner with the sales team to drive business development and retain key accounts.

Customer Relationships: Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Pricing and Negotiations: Oversee pricing strategies and contract negotiations with clients and suppliers.

People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and wider teams.

Culture and Safety: Foster a positive, safe, and high-performance workplace culture.

Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and industry regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA if applicable).

Maintain the highest quality standards across all products and services.

Strategic Direction

Develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategic plans.

Identify emerging market trends and growth opportunities.

Assess and adopt new technology, equipment, and processes to stay competitive.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (preferred but not essential).

10–15+ years’ experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership capacity.

Background in label production, flexographic printing, digital printing, packaging, or related industries.

Strong financial and analytical skills, with proven ERP/MRP/CRM system experience (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite).

Demonstrated ability to think strategically, lead teams, and deliver operational excellence.
