Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and installation. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on various construction projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. Duties Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and polishing surfaces to achieve desired textures and finishes. Operate concrete mixers and other power tools safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Install rebar and perform concrete forming to prepare for pouring. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Engage in heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials as needed throughout the project. Conduct renovation tasks including plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry as required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to project timelines. Requirements Proven experience in concrete finishing, with a strong understanding of construction processes. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment effectively. Familiarity with hardscape techniques and masonry work is preferred. Experience in flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, and restoration projects is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools relevant to concrete work. Previous experience on construction sites is essential; knowledge of commercial driving may be beneficial. Must be able to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday.
