Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including forming, finishing, and installation. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects. The Concrete Laborer will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and pouring of concrete, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. Duties Assist in the setup and preparation of concrete forms according to project specifications. Operate concrete mixers and other power tools safely and efficiently. Install rebar and other reinforcements as required for structural integrity. Perform concrete finishing tasks, ensuring a smooth and durable surface. Utilize hand tools for various construction tasks, including caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and layouts. Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials as needed on the job site. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards. Participate in renovation, restoration, and hardscape projects as assigned. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills or experience: Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools. Experience with construction estimating and project planning. Proficiency in concrete forming, finishing, pumping, and masonry work. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Previous experience on construction sites is essential. Skills in carpentry (frame carpentry, metal stud framing), roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, and stucco application are advantageous.
