Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist with 8 years of clinical experience to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on both preventive and restorative treatments. This is also a unique opportunity for a dentist seeking long-term partnership within a growing practice.
You will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and a wide range of dental procedures.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuous education.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of proven clinical experience in a dental practice or clinic setting.
BDS/MDS degree with a valid dental license.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and medical terminology.
Familiarity with dental software (Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix) is a plus.
Experience in pediatric dentistry and root canal therapy preferred.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
