The Senior Sourcing Manager will be a key member of Coinbase’s S2P Team, overseeing real estate procurement, leasing, and related services. This role focuses on high-level planning, negotiation, and strategic relationship-building with brokers, developers, and other partners, in alignment with the company’s goals and financial objectives. Team/ Role Paragraph: What you’ll be doing covers leadership, strategy, vendor management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement in real estate sourcing and portfolio management. Responsibilities
Ensure the real estate portfolio strategy aligns with Coinbase's business needs, growth objectives, and financial targets. Act as a trusted advisor on office location/space strategy and portfolio optimization; represent Coinbase in high-stakes negotiations with landlords, brokers, and developers. Oversee relationships with commercial real estate brokers, property management firms, and other vendors; ensure partnerships align with financial goals and compliance standards. Escalate and resolve critical real estate issues, including lease disputes and vendor performance. Develop and deploy a risk mitigation strategy for the portfolio; ensure compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements. Partner with Legal, Finance, and Information Security to conduct due diligence on real estate transactions and contracts. Clearly communicate real estate decisions to senior leadership; align cross-functional teams on project objectives. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HR, IT to ensure smooth execution of leases, acquisitions, and facility management. Drive adoption of best-in-class sourcing practices and foster innovation through tools and technologies for market analysis and space utilization. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 10+ years in strategic sourcing and project management, including 5 years in commercial real estate. Proven ability to manage and negotiate complex leases, acquisitions, and multi-million dollar vendor contracts. Strong financial modeling, market analysis, and problem-solving skills for real estate transactions. Experience leading large-scale real estate projects with cross-functional teams. Expertise in real estate portfolio management software and lease administration; risk mitigation frameworks. Advanced negotiation skills; ability to influence Legal, Finance, HR, and other teams. Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to present to executive leadership. Nice to have: experience with remote-first strategies, familiarity with sourcing/spend management tech, knowledge of commercial real estate law, and experience in crypto/fintech space. Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $185,215—$217,900 USD. Full-time offers include target bonus, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)). Equality & Accessibility
