As a Branch Ambassador, you'll use your love of working with people and sharing product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers' banking experience. You will perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures. You will resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an extraordinary customer experience. Use your people skills to connect with customers and help with technology challenges, casual conversations, or showcasing services and products. Assist customers in determining personal and business financial needs and refer them to experts to guide their financial journey. Ensure compliance with audit and security policies and procedures in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations. Support customers in all areas of the branch, including cash handling and service needs, and rotate within the branch based on customer needs. Contribute to an improved retail customer experience with fewer handoffs, striving to be the expert in all areas. Be curious and eager to learn about Capital One products, services, and experiences to help guide customers toward their financial goals. Demonstrate digital savvy by educating customers on mobile and online experiences and guiding them through the branch’s tech tools. Work as part of an energized team of banking professionals and help inspire teammates. Research and answer customer inquiries using various tools to enhance retention and engagement and recommend appropriate solutions. Be willing to travel between branches in the assigned local area to support the market. Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience At least 6 months of cash handling experience Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Salaries, Locations and Benefits

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Bay Shore, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador Bohemia, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador Commack, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador Lake Grove, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador Ronkonkoma, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador Shirley, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered at the time of hire will be reflected in the offer letter.
