Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Job Summary The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting employees and managers across a variety of HR areas, including employee relations, recruiting, training, compliance, and policy administration. This role helps ensure a positive workplace environment while keeping HR practices aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Support employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues. Assist managers and employees with HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Manage recruitment activities such as posting jobs, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Maintain employee records, including performance and attendance data. Coordinate and track training programs and compliance requirements. Monitor employee engagement and recommend ways to improve retention and morale. Stay current on HR laws and practices and recommend updates to policies as needed. Perform other HR-related duties and projects as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of HR disciplines, including employee relations, training, talent acquisition, and employment law. Union experience preferred. Seniority level
