Overview
Sr Materials Program Manager, Ring Supply Chain and Operations. Base pay range: $133,200.00/yr - $220,200.00/yr. The Senior Materials Program Manager (MPM) is responsible for the management and delivery of the product financial health for a highly integrated consumer product. This person has a business orientation and collaborates with local and remote operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive development, implementation and management of the product budget and ensure diversified continuity of supply. The MPM captures, documents, and communicates financial exposures and outlays related to the product and is involved from concept through mass production to achieve all financial targets. They support regular business and executive reviews on performance and status. Responsibilities
Work with engineering and the supply chain team to set program cost targets at a commodity level for the project. Track actual costs versus targets to identify deltas and implement corrective actions to return to plan. Attend new product introduction meetings to understand cost implications of engineering and process changes as related to fully loaded cost targets. Collaborate with the OEM to set product purchase order cost for upcoming periods. Manage purchase price variance claims resulting from engineering changes, component obsolescence, or forecast variance. Drive the supply chain and operations teams to provide detailed cost reduction forecasts to meet and exceed product goals. Host executive cost reviews that analyze all aspects of product cost. Finalize the optimal supply chain and sourcing plan and drive cross-functional implementation. Qualifications
5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience Bachelor's degree Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements 5+ years of managing complex technology projects working directly with engineering teams 5+ years in supply chain and/or manufacturing for complex systems/devices Excellent analytical and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and working of complex systems Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create new processes or simplify and improve on current ones Proven ability to influence others and facilitate agreement among stakeholders About the Team
