If so, join our team as a part-time Management Aide in the Human Resources/Risk Management Department. This is a part-time position that will work no more than 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Salary Range: $34.23 - $41.60 Hourly Minimum Qualifications:

Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by college level coursework in public administration, business administration or a related field. Experience: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible clerical, technical, and routine administrative experience. The City of Chino offers a competitive salary. The Personnel Program supports all City departments with recruitment, hiring, and employee relations. The General Liability/Workers' Compensation Program develops and implements risk management strategies and loss prevention policies to protect the City from potential liabilities. The Employee Services Program oversees employee health, wellness, and compensation plans, including the administration of labor agreements, memoranda of understanding with employee associations, and compliance with government mandates. Per the City of Chino's Nepotism Policy, any employee assigned to the Human Resources/Risk Management Department may not have relatives employed by the City. What You'll Do: As our new Management Aide, you will: Assist with researching, planning, organizing, and implementing various programs and special projects, including the implementation of an electronic filing system. Participate in the preparation and revision of numerous Human Resources/Risk Management policies and provide administrative assistance in the implementation of new administrative procedures. Perform research and analysis on administrative matters and prepare reports to summarize findings and make recommendations. Provide administrative support to the front desk as needed. What We're Looking For: We're looking for someone who: Has the ability to conduct research and prepare reports. Can provide administrative support and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Is resourceful, loves to learn, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. Occasionally end, steep, kneel, reach, push, and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information.
