ProCare Therapy is hiring: Schools - Social Worker in Richton Park

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based social worker position is available to provide critical support services within an educational setting. This role focuses on addressing students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to promote their academic success and overall well-being.

Location: Richton Park, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community resources to support student success.
• Facilitate group sessions and workshops to promote social skills and resilience.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with school policies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW or LCSW) with a valid Illinois license.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in school or clinical settings.
• Strong knowledge of social work best practices and educational systems.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
