Join a dynamic educational setting in Enfield, CT, supporting elementary students from Pre-K through Kindergarten with essential speech and language services. This in-person, contract role offers a school-year position beginning immediately and continuing through June 10, 2025. Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, across two schools, totaling 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities include: Planning and delivering speech-language therapy tailored to students needs, focusing on assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays Conducting diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate Preparing clear and comprehensive reports based on evaluations and observations Developing and maintaining Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives Collaborating and communicating effectively with parents and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress and areas for support Qualifications: Valid Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) license and a teaching certificate from the Connecticut Department of Education (DOE) Experience in school settings is beneficial but not required Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a collaborative team environment Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adapt to evolving student needs Benefits include competitive pay commensurate with experience and weekly pay cycles, as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
