This position offers in-person speech-language therapy services at an elementary school setting located in New Britain, CT. The assignment runs from the start of the school year through June 10, 2025, with students beginning on August 28. Work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling 35 hours per week across two schools.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver speech-language therapy targeting areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays Conduct diagnostic and evaluative testing as appropriate for student needs Provide clear, comprehensive, and insightful reports based on assessments and observations Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives tailored to student goals Collaborate with parents and colleagues to discuss developmental progress and necessary supports Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible to hold certification from the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) and a teaching certificate from the Connecticut Department of Education (DOE) Applicants with previous school-based experience are preferred but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Flexibility and problem-solving capabilities to address student needs effectively Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Weekly pay schedule Medical, dental, and vision coverage options Opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals in a supportive and nurturing environment This role is open to professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, as well as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) qualified for school settings.
