This in-person opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide therapy services at an elementary school setting in West Hartford, CT. The role begins immediately with student sessions starting August 28 and continues through June 10, 2025.

Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch, with a 35-hour workweek across two schools serving Pre-K and Kindergarten students. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive and expressive language development delays Administer diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate Produce clear, comprehensive reports based on student assessments and observations Develop and maintain IEP objectives tailored to student needs Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and peers to discuss developmental progress and areas requiring additional support Qualifications: Certification as an SLP with CCC, SLP-CFY, school SLP certification, or SLPA license acceptable Eligibility to hold Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) licensure and Connecticut Department of Education (DOE) teaching certificate Prior school-based experience is a plus but not required Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Flexibility and problem-solving abilities are essential Benefits: Competitive pay reflective of experience Weekly pay distribution Medical, dental, and vision coverage options Collaborative work environment with a dedicated team focused on student success Candidates passionate about supporting young learners' communication development and eager to work in a supportive school setting are encouraged to apply today.
