Join an educational setting in Bristol, CT, providing essential in-person speech-language services to elementary students from Pre-K through Kindergarten. This contract role runs from now until June 10, 2025, aligned with the school year, working 35 hours per week from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Services will be delivered across two schools, supporting young learners in various areas of speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and provide speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive and expressive language delays. Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. Prepare clear, comprehensive reports from assessments and ongoing observations. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives tailored to student goals. Collaborate with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor and support student progress. Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for certification with the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) and possess a teaching certificate from the Connecticut Department of Education (DOE). Previous experience in school settings is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
