Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique abilities and needs Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities across various grade levels (K-12) Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress Monitor and document student performance, adjusting strategies as necessary Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and legal requirements related to special education Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage diverse learners and adapt teaching methods accordingly Location: Position based in Waltham, Massachusetts This contract role is ideally suited for a dedicated educator committed to making a meaningful impact on the academic and social development of students with special needs.
