A K-12 special education teacher opportunity is available in Springfield, MA, on a contract basis for the upcoming school year (CSY). This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within the special education framework.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated learning experiences Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and self-confidence Participate in parent-teacher meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development sessions Qualifications/Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-12 grade levels Proven experience working with students requiring specialized educational support Knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and instructional strategies Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learner needs and learning styles Location: Springfield, MA This contract position offers the chance to impact students educational journeys in a supportive K-12 school setting.
