A part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide nursing care in a high school setting in Edison, NJ. This position requires availability primarily on Fridays, starting immediately with the school year beginning 9/4 and continuing through 6/26/26. Summer school hours are also available. Additional coverage from Monday through Thursday may be available if desired, to support the regular nursing staff during absences.

Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care and support to a student on a 1:1 basis, including required bus riding duties. Ensure consistent and reliable attendance from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM on assigned days. Collaborate with school personnel and communicate effectively about the students health needs. Follow specific medical protocols and care plans, with detailed medical information provided upon application. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school health policies and procedures. Qualifications and Experience: Current LPN/LVN or RN licensure appropriate for school nursing. Experience with pediatric or school-based nursing preferred. Ability to maintain consistency and reliability in attendance and care. Comfortable with bus riding duties and one-on-one student supervision. Strong communication and organizational skills.
