A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) position is available for the 2023-2025 school year at a K-12 school site in Edison, NJ. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services in an educational setting, supporting student health and well-being throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct school health services, including physical examinations, immunizations, and screenings for hearing and vision. Collaborate closely with the supervising Registered Nurse to ensure comprehensive healthcare delivery. Provide individualized 1:1 care for students when necessary to address specific medical needs. Maintain accurate and up-to-date cumulative health records for all students, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations. Administer first aid according to established procedures promptly and effectively. Advise teachers and staff on health matters related to students' conditions, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment. Qualifications and Experience: Current and unrestricted LPN/LVN license as required by state regulations. Experience working in school health or pediatric care preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, educators, and healthcare professionals. Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. Location and Schedule: Onsite position at a school located in Edison, NJ. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Contract duration from September 2023 to June 23, 2025. Placement at a school site of your candidates preference can be discussed.
