A part-time position is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support a high school setting in Paterson, NJ. This role is designed for an experienced school nurse specializing in student healthcare, with a focus on providing consistent and attentive care.

Responsibilities include: Providing nursing care and health services to students, including a dedicated 1:1 student assignment requiring bus transportation. Offering medical support and monitoring throughout the school day from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm every Friday, with summer school hours also available. Potentially covering Monday through Thursday shifts in the event the primary nurse is absent. Collaborating with school staff to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Ensuring compliance with school health policies and protocols. Qualifications and desired experience: Valid and current RN or LPN/LVN licensure appropriate for school nursing. Previous experience in a school nursing role preferred. Ability to provide consistent attendance, strong organizational and communication skills. Comfort with providing 1:1 care for a student, including transportation via bus. Availability to start immediately and commit through June 26, 2026.
