Full-time OR part-time remote opportunity providing specialized educational services to students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities. You'll deliver evidence-based instruction while supporting students' academic achievement and independence goals. Specialized Service Areas
Tactile graphic interpretation and instruction Abacus and mathematical concept development Assistive technology integration and support Environmental and mobility awareness training Compensatory academic skill instruction Community navigation and safety skills Key Responsibilities
Provide direct virtual instruction in specialized skills Complete functional vision and learning media evaluations Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams Develop accessible instructional materials and resources Support general education inclusion and accommodations Conduct parent and educator consultation sessions Document student progress and maintain accurate records Credential Requirements
Master's degree in Visual Impairments or Special Education Valid Ohio TVI teaching license Minimum 2 years of school-based VI experience Advanced Braille literacy and transcription certification Proficiency with screen readers and magnification software Experience with virtual instruction delivery Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Virtual Instruction Excellence
