A K-12 educational setting in Cranston, RI, is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional for a school-year contract. This role supports students and educators by assisting in various instructional and classroom management activities to promote a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities include: Assisting teachers in delivering instructional materials and supporting individual student needs. Providing guidance and support to students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and other school-related events. Helping implement classroom behavior management plans and fostering a respectful learning atmosphere. Supporting students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed. Assisting with preparation and organization of instructional materials and classroom resources. Monitoring student progress and reporting observations to the teaching staff. Desired qualifications and experience: Previous experience working in an educational environment, preferably with K-12 students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff. Patience, reliability, and a passion for supporting student learning and development. Understanding of classroom procedures and commitment to student safety. Location: Cranston, Rhode Island This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to students academic and social growth throughout the school year.
