A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2025/2026 school year to support a diverse caseload in a K-12 educational setting located in Melvindale, MI. This contract position focuses on providing expert speech therapy services to students ranging from early childhood (ages 3-5) through middle and high school.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for approximately 35 students (subject to change). Support walk-in speech sessions for younger children aged 3 to 5. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs). Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to students overall developmental goals. Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working in pediatric school-based settings. Licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Michigan. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques applicable to varied age groups and needs. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Position Details: Location: Melvindale, MI. Contract duration: 2025-2026 School Year. Caseload: Approximately 35 students, including early childhood through high school. Weekly hours: Up to 30 hours per week, with part-time options available.
