Position Focus
This role combines traditional special education expertise with modern virtual instruction techniques. You'll create meaningful learning experiences for students with disabilities while working collaboratively with families and educational teams to ensure comprehensive support. Essential Functions
Implement individualized education programs in virtual settings Provide direct instruction in academic and functional life skills Conduct comprehensive assessments and progress evaluations Develop adaptive materials and modify instructional approaches Facilitate transition services and post-secondary planning Maintain professional relationships with students, families, and colleagues Document student progress and maintain compliance with regulations Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities Educational Programming
Deliver specialized instruction across multiple domains including academic subjects, social skills development, and independent living preparation. Support students with varying needs from mild to moderate disabilities, ensuring appropriate challenge levels and individualized pacing. Collaborative Environment
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists. Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional learning communities focused on best practices in virtual special education. Required Credentials
Master's degree in Special Education or closely related field Valid New Hampshire special education teaching license Minimum two years of special education classroom experience Experience with remote instruction and educational technology Strong communication and organizational abilities Knowledge of federal and state special education law Commitment to evidence-based instructional practices If interested, apply here or contact:
