Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across grades K-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure accessible learning environments Utilize assistive technology and adaptive materials to enhance student learning Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Experience working with visually impaired students in a K-12 educational setting Strong knowledge of visual impairment accommodations, resources, and teaching methodologies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities Location: Lynn, MA Duration: Contract for the normal school year (NSY) This opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students academic and personal development.
