This opportunity is for an experienced Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students in a contract role located in Acton, MA. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instruction and modifications to students with visual impairments Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Provide assistive technology guidance and training when appropriate Support students social and emotional development alongside academic goals Communicate regularly with families, educators, and related service providers Qualifications: Certification/license to teach students with visual impairments Experience working with visually impaired children in a K-12 setting Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive learning materials Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to develop individualized instructional plans Location: Acton, Massachusetts This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of visually impaired students by fostering their independence and academic success.
