Seeking a Special Education Teacher for a K-12 school in Chicopee, MA. This contract position is available for the current school year (CSY) and focuses on meeting the specialized needs of students requiring special education services.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive educational environments. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary. Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities across various grade levels. Maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth. Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings. Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate a wide range of learning challenges. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
