Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and disabilities Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive education Monitor and document student progress and adjust strategies accordingly Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student growth and independence Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Ability to design and modify lessons based on individual student needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota Job Type: Contract for the upcoming school year (NSY) This role is ideal for educators passionate about making a difference in the lives of students requiring specialized support.
