An opportunity is available for two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to support students in a K-12 school setting in Norfolk, VA. This contract position spans the upcoming school year and focuses on providing occupational therapy services to help students develop the skills necessary for academic and daily life success.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans designed by occupational therapists for students with diverse needs. Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and adaptive functioning. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as directed. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student goals in both classroom and therapy settings. Participate in meetings, assist with screenings, and contribute to the development of educational strategies. Qualifications: Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
