A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed for a contract position in a K-12 school setting in Bel Air, MD, for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments covering speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders using standardized testing and clinical observation. Develop detailed diagnoses based on evaluation findings. Implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student needs. Monitor progress and modify treatment approaches to optimize outcomes. Educate students and families on communication disorders and treatment techniques. Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and participate in team meetings to ensure coordinated care. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification. Valid Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as an SLP. Pediatric experience preferred, with strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention. Proficiency with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, electronic health records, and relevant software. Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
