A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in a scenic waterfront city in Maryland. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week working with a diverse student population. The community boasts beautiful marinas and boating opportunities, with the added convenience of a weekend trip to Washington, DC just under two hours away.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tools and clinical observations to establish accurate diagnoses. Design and implement evidence-based therapy plans addressing speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Educate and support students and families on treatment approaches and communication strategies for daily improvement. Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of evaluations, therapy progress, and treatment plans. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and participate in multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid Maryland state licensure or licensure eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for pediatric populations. Proficiency in diagnostic tools, therapy technologies, electronic health record systems, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
