A travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a vibrant waterfront city in Maryland. This opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week within a K-12 school setting, with the added benefit of occasional weekend trips to Washington, DC, just under two hours away. The position is a contract role spanning the full school year.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities through standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnostic impressions based on evaluation outcomes. Deliver evidence-based treatment plans for a variety of speech and language disorders, adapting therapies as needed. Educate and support students and families regarding disorder management and communication improvement strategies. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and plans in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines. Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to support holistic patient care. Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current Maryland state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health records. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
