A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school serving grades K-4 in McPherson, KS, for a contract covering the full school year. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educators, parents, or specialists. Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment plans aligned with federal, state, and district guidelines. Deliver direct therapy services in individual and small-group formats to support students developmental needs. Work closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to embed speech and language goals into daily classroom activities. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, complete necessary reports, and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences. Support students requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems as needed. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or appropriate Department of Education certification. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
