A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available for an elementary school leave replacement position from August 25 to October 3. This role serves students in grades K-4 with a focus on supporting communication development and meeting Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Responsibilities include conducting speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations in accordance with IDEA and state regulations, developing measurable IEP goals, and delivering direct therapy services both individually and in groups. The therapist will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to integrate communication supports into academic and functional settings. Participation in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions is an integral part of the role. Accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress tracking, and Medicaid billing are also required. Additional duties may involve providing staff training on communication strategies and supporting augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) evaluations and device use. All work must adhere to ethical standards outlined by ASHA and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Qualifications for this position include a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid PA Department of Education certification in Speech and Language Impaired PK-12. Candidates with current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) are preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered if supervised. Familiarity with IDEA, IEP development, and effective data collection is necessary. Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Required clearances include PA Criminal History, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprinting.
