A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 academic year, specifically from August 13, 2025, through May 21, 2026. This role focuses primarily on supporting elementary school students within a collaborative psychological services team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct approximately 40 evaluations including initial assessments and reevaluations within an elementary school setting Collaborate with a team of two district psychologists to support and enhance the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process Provide timely psychological evaluations and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) Engage with school staff, students, and families to ensure effective mental health support and intervention strategies Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid school psychologist certification or licensure Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a K-6 environment Strong knowledge of MTSS frameworks and assessment strategies Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required Location:This role serves schools in communities surrounding Champaign, Danville, Mahomet, and Decatur, Illinois. Compensation is paid hourly, with negotiable rates based on experience. Stipends may be available for qualifying candidates requiring travel assistance.
