A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting students from PreK through 12th grade in an itinerant role across multiple school locations in Woodbridge, VA. This full-time, contract opportunity requires in-person work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, from August 13th to May 21st.

Assisting in administering and scoring speech and language assessments. Collaborating with therapists, teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Preparing documentation such as evaluations, IEPs, and progress reports. Attending meetings including IEP conferences and parent meetings. Transporting students to and from therapy and testing sessions. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelors Degree in Speech, Language and Hearing or Communication Disorders. Experience as a paraprofessional or in a school setting preferred. Training or experience in language and/or articulation therapy preferred. Strong communication skills including active listening and two-way communication. Ability to work collaboratively with a positive, flexible attitude. Willingness to learn and implement new strategies and techniques. Location: Itinerant position within K-12 school settings in Woodbridge, VA.
