We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced

Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

licensed in

Michigan

to join our team in providing high-quality virtual therapy services to K12 students. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing disorders through a secure teletherapy platform. You will work collaboratively with educators, special education teams, and families to support students' communication needs in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational goals. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual assessments, evaluations, and screenings to determine students' speech and language needs.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.

Provide direct teletherapy services to students with speech and language disorders.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluation reports, treatment notes, and progress reports.

Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support students success in the educational environment.

Provide consultation and training to school staff on communication disorders and strategies.

Ensure services are compliant with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA requirements.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Active

Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan

(Required).

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Previous experience in a school-based setting (virtual or onsite) strongly preferred.

Familiarity with IEP processes and special education laws.

Proficiency in virtual therapy tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, therapy software).

Excellent communication, organization, and technology skills.

Reliable internet connection and a private, HIPAA/FERPA-compliant workspace.
