We are seeking a dedicated and licensed
Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to provide virtual speech and language services to K12 students across
Nevada . This fully remote role is ideal for an experienced SLP who is passionate about supporting student success through teletherapy, collaboration, and individualized intervention. As part of a virtual team, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, contribute to IEP development, and ensure services are delivered in compliance with Nevada Department of Education standards and IDEA regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual assessments, screenings, and comprehensive evaluations.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs.
Deliver direct teletherapy services in accordance with IEPs and service schedules.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide input on goals, accommodations, and progress.
Document therapy sessions, evaluation results, and student progress in a timely and compliant manner.
Collaborate with general and special education staff, school teams, and families to support student communication and academic success.
Provide consultation and training to educators and parents regarding speech-language strategies and supports.
Remain up to date with Nevada education policies, ASHA standards, and best practices in virtual service delivery.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active
Nevada Speech-Language Pathology license
(Required).
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs may be considered with supervision availability.
Experience providing school-based or virtual therapy services to students (preferred).
Familiarity with IEP processes, special education law (IDEA/504), and Nevada-specific requirements.
Proficiency with secure teletherapy tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, or other therapy platforms).
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Access to a reliable internet connection and HIPAA/FERPA-compliant workspace.
